Prime Video Unveils Its Largest-Ever India Slate with 55 Titles Across Streaming and Theatrical
Prime Video has unveiled its biggest-ever Indian Originals slate at Prime Video Presents 2026,signalling a major expansion of its content and market ambitions in India. The platform announced adiverse lineup of nearly 55 series and films across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, spanning scripted andunscripted formats, along with a significant push into theatrical releases through Amazon MGMStudios India.
The new slate features high-profile titles including The Revolutionaries by Nikkhil Advani, MatkaKing starring Vijay Varma, Raakh with Ali Fazal and Sonali Bendre, and Lukkhe, marking rapperKING’s acting debut. A key highlight is Vansh – The Kalyug Warriors, positioned as India’s firsthomegrown streaming superhero series. The platform is also doubling down on successful franchises,with new seasons of Farzi, Panchayat, Call Me Bae, Dupahiya, Dahaad, and The Traitors.
Regional storytelling remains a strong focus, with an expanded Telugu and Tamil slate, including aTelugu adaptation of The Traitors, Guvvala Cheruvu Ghat, Exam, and returning titles like Vadhandhiand Inspector Rishi. Prime Video is also strengthening its creative ecosystem through collaborationswith leading production houses such as Dharmatic Entertainment, Excel Entertainment, Tiger BabyFilms, and The Viral Fever. New partnerships include Hrithik Roshan’s HRX Films and Alia Bhatt’sEternal Sunshine Productions.
In a strategic shift, the company also announced five theatrical films, including Raftaar, VIBE,Dilkashi, Nayyi Navelli, and Kuku Ki Kundli, which will release in cinemas before streaming on theplatform. This move reflects a broader effort to integrate theatrical and digital ecosystems.
