Broadcasters Look to Agentic AI to Reshape Content Supply Chains

The next phase of AI adoption in broadcasting is moving beyond individual applications and into the infrastructure that manages the complete media supply chain.

SDVI is advancing its Rally media supply-chain platform with a redesigned orchestration engine, graphical supply-chain builder and an agentic AI interface. The platform also incorporates AI-assisted functions such as ad-break detection, speech translation and subtitle correction.

A key element of the approach is hybrid infrastructure. Rather than requiring broadcasters to abandon existing systems, the architecture is designed to allow on-premise infrastructure and cloud technologies to operate together.

This could provide a practical pathway for broadcasters with complex legacy environments to introduce AI progressively. The broader direction is towards supply-chain orchestration becoming the layer connecting content systems, automation and intelligent services
