Farzin Najmi has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Sports Technology, CTO - Enterprise IT & BPE at Viacom18 Media Pvt Ltd. a leading media and Entertainment Company. Network 18 managing a holistic business, including broadcast channels online news portals and publishing brands. Network 18 runs the largest news broadcast network in India, owning newsrooms and studios across the country.
As part of the new initiative, Farzin in his role will lead Live Sports Technology, Enterprise IT & Business Process Engineering vertical.

Farzin is a media professional with immense experience of over two decades in media broadcast technology and operations, post-production, live content solutions, enterprise IT, digital transformation and automation.
Farzin draws on his experience from stints at various prominent media companies such as Star India, Times Television Network, INX Media and brings in unique ability to view technology through both end-user and business perspectives that enables him to manoeuvre in the ever-evolving world of media technology with the ideas to shape into effective applications. His expertise lies in broadcast technology and operations, and he has been instrumental in implementing innovative solutions to meet the evolving demands of the industry.
