Shure has appointed Ekta Shetty as Senior Sales Director for Africa, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia and the Pacific, reinforcing the company’s focus on accelerating growth and deepening market presence across these strategically important regions.

Based in Shure’s Dubai office, Ekta will oversee Sales Management, Market Development, Channel Marketing and Customer Experience teams spanning Dubai, India, Singapore and Australia. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving regional growth, strengthening channel and distribution partnerships, and advancing Shure’s go-to-market and marketing strategies across diverse and fast-evolving markets.

Ekta brings more than 15 years of international leadership experience in the AV and Unified Communications industries. Prior to joining Shure, she held senior roles at Barco, where she led Sales and Marketing across the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. During her tenure, she was credited with streamlining operations, optimising channel programmes and improving regional performance, delivering sustained business growth and operational efficiency.

Her appointment reflects Shure’s continued commitment to expanding its footprint and accelerating momentum across Africa, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. It also aligns with the company’s broader strategy to unlock new opportunities in the fast-growing collaboration and conferencing segment, while building on its strong legacy in professional audio.
