Star Sports to host SVG India Summit on 30 April in Mumbai

Star Sports and the Sports Video Group, a global association dedicated to advancing sports content creation and distribution, are hosting the first-ever SVG India Summit on 30 April at the Star Sports headquarters in Mumbai. The event will bring together speakers from around the world as well as feature a tour of the Star Sports facilities.

"It's as much a celebration of the India sports production community as it is an educational event and it's shaping up to be a great event."

The event is free to attend and open to both sports professionals in India who want to learn and network as well as those from beyond India who wish to learn more about the market. Highlights will include conversations with Mike Davies, Fox Sports U.S., EVP, Technical and Field Operations and Sanjog Gupta, Disney Star, Head – Sports on the future of Big-Time Event Production; the Future of India Sports Production featuring Saeed Izadi, NEP India, Singapore & Middle East, President; Rajat Nigam, Network18 Media, Group CTO; Ajesh Ramachandaran, ICC TV, Executive Producer; and James Rego, RISE Worldwide, Head – Broadcast & Production; and panels looking at AR graphics, AI, and automated production. Harsh Mittal, Disney+ Hotstar, Chief Architect, will also present about how Disney+Hotstar broke streaming records at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup last year.
